Why panoramic sizes?
Panoramic sizes are distinctive because they are not widely available. The smaller size panoramas can be used in creative ways. For example, the vertical formats can fit in narrow wall spaces. And multiple photographs can be combined to create interesting groupings and collages. It is difficult to display panoramic images with picture frames, because they are not a standard size. On the other hand, the sentiam system is highly versatile, and is easily adapted to a wide range of sizes and aspect ratios. These panoramic formats take advantage of that versatility. |

Where do you get your photographs?
We are working with talented photographers from around the world. Our artists have a creative visual sense, and the ability to produce photographs of very high quality. For our signature series of photographs, we work with established professional photographers with a record of exceptional works. The first photographer in the Signature Series is Todd Gustafson. For our gallery series, we are working with photographers whose names may not be familiar, but whose photographs capture extraordinary images. The first photographers in the Gallery Series are Nathan Cooper and Zsolt Zsigmond. |

How do you make sure the photographs are high quality?
We review the overall work of each photographer to ensure consistently high quality of their work. And we have established a rigorous process and work flow to manage image quality at every step:

What is the thin panel made of?
The panel is made from a thin sheet of acrylic. Acrylic is a type of plastic that resembles glass, but has several properties that make it superior. It is many times stronger than glass, making it more impact resistant, even though it is only half the weight of glass. Acrylic is very stable, and does not change color or become brittle as it ages. The acrylic for our initial products is charcoal gray in color, which provides a rich but neutral background for the photographs. You cannot see the acrylic as you view the photograph from the front. There is no border around the photograph. The acrylic is custom cut with a laser to be the exact size of the photograph. The edges of the acrylic are flush with the edges of the photo. |

How is the print attached to the acrylic panel? The photographic print is attached to the acrylic with adhesive designed specifically for this type of application. It will permanently hold the print securely in place, and will not have any effect on the visual appearance and durability of the print. |

Why do you use magnets for mounting the photograph? One of the advantages of the sentiam display system is the ability to easily change photographs, or to move photos from one position to another, or from a wall mount to a desk stand. The system is based on patent-pending technology that utilizes magnets to achieve true mounting flexibility. The magnets are strong enough to hold the photograph firmly, while allowing you to lift off the photo and click a new one in place in seconds. Because of their strength, they also assure automatic alignment between the photo and the mounting bracket on the wall or desk stand. |

Can the magnets erase my credit card or PDA information? Any magnet has the potential to erase information stored magnetically on media such as credit cards, PDAs or other devices. To preserve your data, keep these items and other magnetic media at least two inches away from the magnets on the sentiam panel or mounting bracket. |

What kind of paper are the photographs printed on? We print on photographic paper with a semi-matte finish, using silver halide photoprocessing. |

Will the photograph I receive look exactly like it does on my computer screen? There are always slight variations from computer monitor to print version, but our color management process will ensure the best result possible. However, it is important that you test and calibrate your monitor so that it is displaying colors as accurately as possible. |

Product care

Can I dust the photograph?
Yes. Gently wipe the photograph with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use commercial dusting products, such as Pledge, on photographs because the chemicals may damage the print. For the ultimate in dusting, use a canned air duster (available in office supply stores). Keep the can upright to avoid getting liquid propellant on the image, and keep the applicator top off the print surface to avoid scratching the image. |

What if a spill or stain gets on the photograph?
The print surface can be spot cleaned with a soft, clean lint-free cloth (or a cotton swab), dampened with distilled water. Distilled water is preferable to tap water because tap water can contain chemicals that could discolor the image. Use very light pressure because the water temporarily softens the emulsion layer. The print will have a slight bluish tint until it dries this is normal. Do not use paper towels or paper based cloths to clean or dust the photo the coarse fibers in paper can scratch the surface of the print. If water alone does not remove the stain or spill, you can use a mixture of half distilled water and half denatured alcohol. If a residue ring remains after the print is dry, wipe with distilled water, allow the print to dry and buff gently with a clean, dry cloth. |

How do I clean the acrylic? Use a solution of mild detergent (such as dish soap) and water, slightly dampening a soft cloth to remove finger prints or dirt from the acrylic. Buff dry with a clean cloth. Never use glass cleaners (such as Windex) on acrylic. The ammonia and other chemicals can react with the acrylic, causing permanent damage. Do not use paper towels to clean or buff the acrylic the coarse fibers in paper can scratch the surface of the acrylic. |

Is the acrylic panel delicate? Can it break like glass? Acrylic is sturdy and resists sharp blows. It is more flexible and stronger than glass. As with any valuable object, you should treat your sentiam product with care. |
|

Will the photograph fade without glass to protect it? The photograph is printed on high quality photographic paper. Today's papers will last for decades without showing any sign of fading, if displayed under normal room lighting and temperature conditions. (By the way, most framed photographs are behind ordinary glass, which provides no protection against UV rays, the cause of fading.) Do not display the product in direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods will cause the print to fade. |

How do I place orders? Go to the products page, and select a product you want to order. Click on the Add to Cart button. Repeat for any other products you want to order. When you have selected all the products you want, click on the Cart button in the main menu. Make any changes to your order that you want, and select the shipping method. Click on Checkout, fill in the required information, and click on Submit Order. |

What methods of payment do you accept? We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards. |

Do you offer volume discounts?
We do not offer volume discounts at this time. If you have an application in mind that involves significant volumes, please contact us via the contact us page. |

How long will it take to receive my order? We are using US Postal Service Priority Mail for your shipping, you should receive the product within 6-9 days after you place the order. |

Warranty and returns

What is your product warranty? We warrant our products against failure for the lifetime of the product. If you experience any problem with the product, you can return it to sentiam. Upon return of the product we will refund your purchase price and shipping cost, unless we determine that the damage was caused by mishandling or improper treatment. |

What is your return policy? You can return the product for any reason within 30 days of receipt. If the product was defective or damaged when you received it, we will refund your purchase price and shipping cost or replace it with a new product. For any other reasons, we will issue a credit for the purchase price which can be applied to the purchase of any other sentiam products. |
